Terms & Conditions / Hire Agreement
By engaging with Closet Collection via website, email, Instagram or phone call you declare to accept and trade by the practices outlined in these terms and conditions. Closet Collection or any of its nominated affiliates reserve the right to change or alter these terms without notice subject to public discretion.

These Terms & conditions outlined here-within constitute a binding legal contract between the hirer and Closet Collection. These Terms apply to you whether you are browsing the products or are a customer of Closet Collection.
You agree by engaging with Closet Collection, you are hiring products which remain the possession and sole ownership of Closet Collection at all times. Our products may be hired for customers who are under the age of 18, however, we only hire directly to adults who may hire the products on behalf of a minor. By agreeing to hire, you represent that you are over 18 years and are authorized to use the chosen method of payment with the purpose of hiring the products on the order.
Shipping Details - Express delivery Australia wide ranges from $19.95 - $29.95. Please be aware - This rate only covers items sent in the same order. If you are booking more than one dress and they are for different weekends you must place your bookings separately and pay the shipping amount separately in each order. Your delivery will be via Australia post, Closet Collection cannot guarantee exact delivery times, therefor you must make yourself available to receive the delivery between 7am-7pm on the requested day of delivery or earlier. Your hire period starts from the time the courier attempted first delivery and credits will not be issued for late delivery where you have not been available to accept delivery. When placing an order, you automatically give us authority to leave your parcel in a safe place. If you do not wish to grant us this authority, you must clearly outline this in the delivery instructions at checkout. You understand and agree that this authority to leave gives us and/or our selected couriers permission to leave the Order in question unattended by the front door – or, where applicable, at the reception or concierge’s desk – of the delivery address without obtaining a signature confirming delivery at the delivery location. In such circumstances, you understand and agree that by granting us authority to leave, we and our couriers are released of all responsibility and liability for the Orders delivered and left unattended, and that this responsibility and liability transfer to you on delivery. We do not take responsibility for orders where an incorrect or ineligible address has been provided. If you have supplied an incorrect address, you will not be entitled to a refund of any kind and you may be liable to pay any late fees or a replacement fee if the dress is not returned to us. In the instance where a parcel is unable to be delivered in time due to Aus Post being unable to gain access and/or leave the parcel in a safe place and you have not provided delivery instructions you will not be entitled to a refund of any kind and you may be liable to pay any late fees or a replacement fee if the dress is not returned to us. If you have supplied an address that has a redirection service set up and your parcel is not delivered in time you will not be entitled to a refund. By choosing signature on delivery, you are accepting that anyone on that premises can sign for your parcel, once the item is signed for responsibility and liability transfer to you. In the rare occasion that the dress is delivered after your return date you are still required to return the dress as soon as possible (no later than 48 hours after delivery). If you require additional time to return the dress due to a late delivery, please contact info@closetcollection.com.au. If a dress is not returned you are liable for 100% of the RRP of the dress, you may also be liable for late fees if you do not return the garment within a reasonable timeframe. It is therefore recommended you select a permanent address that someone will be available in the unlikelihood of the dress not being delivered as per your chosen date. ***Please note we aim to deliver every item as quickly as possible*** If you order in advance and the dress does not arrive to you in time you will be entitled to a full refund. Any last-minute hires (orders placed less than 36 hours before being dispatched) that do not arrive in time will be entitled to a credit note only and not a refund. Orders placed after 2pm AEST will be shipped the following day. No refunds will be given for orders placed after this time that do not get delivered by the following business day.
Size Issues or Faulty Garment - If a product doesn’t fit you then you can return it unworn within 24 hours to receive a credit of the hire fee. You must email info@closetcollection.com.au indicating your intention to mail back the product for credit. The term “unworn” will be determined by Closet Collection and must be fulfilled prior to a credit being issued. You must inspect your dress, notify us and send through photos of any damage within 4 hours of receiving your garment, you may be responsible for the damage if we are not notified within this time period or sent photo evidence of the damage. If the dress arrives back to us late, then you will not be entitled to a refund/credit note
Payment Terms - The hire price for the products will consist of the hire and cleaning fee. When you place a booking, you authorize Closet Collection to charge your payment method for your hire price. In addition to your hire order for a product, you authorize Closet Collection to charge your payment method up to an amount to 100% of the entire original retail value of the product. Provided we only charge your payment method when you have not upheld your commitment to us as set forth in this hire agreement. In the event an invoice is issued for payment for any reason then payment shall be due within seven 7 days of the date of the invoice.
Returns - You must return the dress by the return date, by posting back the garment you must do so via trackable express post to Closet Collection, PO Box 293 Warragul VIC 3820. You must provide tracking details and photo of addressed satchel to info@closetcollection.com.au in order to avoid further borrowing charges. You are required to return your item/s via an Australia Post Outlet where it will be scanned over the counter as proof of lodgement then the article will be deemed as returned and we will accept responsibility for the article after the first scan. If you return your item/s via an Australia Post Box (not scanning in over the counter) and the garment/s are lost by Australia Post, then you accept responsibility for this loss and will be required to pay the retail cost of the item/s in addition to the hire fee already paid.
Cleaning -Professional cleaning is included in your hire. You agree that under no circumstance no attempts will be made to clean, alter, iron/press garment/s. Closet Collection shall not be held liable for any health-related complaints associated with a product hired from our store. You acknowledge our garments have been worn by other consumers prior to your rental.
Damaged/Soiled/Replacement Garment - You agree to treat Closet Collection garments like you would your own. You will treat the garment with the upmost of care. For all damages, if Closet Collection assesses (at its sole discretion) the need for repairs will be fully paid for by the hirer. If Closet Collection assesses (as its sole discretion) that the dress is beyond repairable, you accept to be charged the replacement RRP value of the dress.
Late Fee Policy - You agree to return your product on the order return date. If you return your item/s late you will incur a twenty-five-dollar late fee for every day you are late up to 100% of the retail value of the dress. You agree to pay these late fees up to an amount not exceeding 100% of the retail value of the products. If you have not returned your product within 20 days of the return date your product will be considered a non-return and you will be charged 100% of the retail value of the item/s. You are required to return your item/s via an Australia Post Outlet where it will be scanned over the counter as proof of lodgement then you will not be responsible for late fees provided the item/s are lodged on your return date (or next business day if your return date falls on a Sunday-Tuesday).
Collection - If you do not pay the amounts owed to us when due we will pass on the invoices to a collection company to pursue you for collections, including and without limitation attorney and collection fees. Closet Collection reserves the right to terminate your right to rent products from us at any time at our own discretion should you breach this agreement or for any other reason.
Cancellation Policy - You may cancel your rental order following our cancellation fees and policies, your cancellation must be placed no later than 48 hours before your expected delivery date. You will be given a store credit for all cancellations; this store credit can be used on all items online and will last 12 months from its issue date. Cancellations will not be accepted on days where there is a sale or a promo offer.
